Product Description

Chic and stylish, this Pod Chair is a classic reproduction from the 1960’s. Originally conceived by Eero Aarnio, the iconic Finnish designer, this timeless classic would not look out of place in any habitable space. The Pod with its black fabric interior and shiny white outer shell is a particularly good example of the genre. With the outer-shell , base and stem made out of fibreglass, this chair is inherently robust in nature, and the ergonomic design affords the recumbent an extremely comfortable sitting position.

The chair has removable cushions and has a 5 panel interior finish, along with benefiting from a 360 degree arch of movement thanks to the swivel mechanism it has installed, which allows ease of access an egress even in the most confined locations within a room. To be cocooned within the chair, is to be transported -back to the swinging sixties and to experience first-hand, one of its most iconic pieces of furniture.
